قصة الأنمي : البارت الأول بإختصار ::

الشاب ديو براندو يسعى للحصول على ثروة جورج جوستار الذي
يدين لوالد ديو بحياته


تبدأ القصة بإنهيار عربة تعود لعائلة غنية، في قرية مجاورة، يجدهم شخص مخادع يدعى براندو و كونهُ يظنهم قد لاقوا حتفهم، يحاول سرقة محتويات العربة، او المجوهرات التي تحملها العائلة الميتة او ما شابه ، يجد الرجل اللص و زوجته طفلًا حيًا في العربة و لكن..... لا يبالي به و أيضا يجد قناعا حجريا غريبا و لا يكترثُ لأمره.. متوجها للسيد جورج جوستار و هو و يحاول تركه في مكانه ليقوم بسرقة خاتم يوجد في يد الرجل الثري صاحب العربة. ما هي إلا لحظات ليستقيظ الرجل الغني السيد جوستار، ليظن ان اللص الذي يقوم بسرقته هو في الحقيقة الرجل الي انقذه فالسيد جوستار لطيف للغاية و تم خدعه من قبل.... كلٌ من السيد جوستار و ابنه المدعو جوناثان " جوجو" قد تمكنا من النجاة بأعجوبة و للأسف فالسيدة جوستار قد وافاها الأجل. استمرت حياة جوجو و والده بسلام، حتى جاء اليوم الذي وصلهم زائر غريب.. و الذي يدعى ديو. ديو هو إبن اللص الذي شكره السيد جوستار و قد كان يتعرض لمعاملة سيئة منه والده براندو الذي كان مُدمِنا للشرب و مديونًا و مقامرا كما أنه تسبب بموت زوجته، حينما كان على فراش الموت أخبر ديو بشأن السيد جوستار و كيف ان السيد جوستار مدين له، و اوصى إبنه ديو بإن يذهب لقصر عائلة جوستار ليعيش هناك بعيدا عن الحي الفقير الذي كان يسكن فيه. كانت كلمات براندو الأخيرة لديو إخباره بإنه يجب عليه أن يكون رجلًا عظيمًا الأمر الذي وافق عليه ديو باصقًا على قبر أبيه، بعد أن قرر الذهاب لقصر جورج جوستار و التقرب إليه لسرقة ثروته و معاداة جوجو رغم ان جوجو حاول ما بوسعه للتعامل مع ديو كـ صديق.


إضافة لكن حرق : يكتشف ديو سر القناع الذي يقوم بتحويل البشر لمخلوقات خالدة الا و هي مصاصوا الدماء الذين لا يمكنهم العيش تحت أشعة الشمس، و هكذا تبدأ قصتنا ليحاول جوجو مواجهة ديو و التخلص منه.
