She said 'farewell' to the sole two pieces left of her soul
since she was claimed by the darkness long time ago, he was
her sole love.. the Love that she felt for over a century, and sadly
.kept quiet from him; from the world
Kissing him for the first time since they had met 150 years surely
.left him with questions.. ones she didn't dare to answer
He wouldn't talk; of course not she knew him very well
He thought if it would please his queen he'd be happy to offer
.that and more his life if she wished to take
..He was the knight she deeply loved till the very end
What a shame, they had been together for too long but
.it never felt enough.. she still had more to say to him

And she was the only part of her that was worth it; her only child
the innocence that came from the evilness that she became
a long time ago..she can't remember how it was before that
.anymore
She was the small blooming Lilly between the fields of thorns
her mother is, she never stood against it.. it meant that she would
be a person person than her corrupted self, she made her proud
.at a young age
She informed her that she will be the princess in the story she told
a powerful princess who went to learn by the hand of a great
teacher, and meet up with her in the right time.. only she knew
.such thing would not take place any time soon
She only hoped that her child would be a better queen, and learn
.from her mother's mistakes

She watched them leave to safety as she had ordered[; no one
to harm them as long as they are not around her during the war
she created by free will. This was the price for her to pay, for the
.endless sorrow she had infected upon millions of people
Each tear that she had caused had a price and the due had come
therefore, she watched what was worthy leave her behind
and
forcing her to feel emotions she never had before in her long line
of life; it was odd and felt more as a punishment than a reward
to finally have her question 'what does if feel like' to be answered
but the aching.. this wrenching ache that's swelling within her being
was not bearable.. The loss of the both of them is too great, too big
she hated the guilt of never letting them know it was their very last
.Goodbye

Sometime you're left with nothing but for your memories
the time you said the most meaningful thing, or the most
..hurting one
The the small smile on your lips while you stood
in front of the mirror; pleased with how you dressed and looked
That walk you had years ago, when you liked wind and the life
you felt on the street around you
it could be that fight you had with the your loved ones, left
you and a scar to be reminded with
it could be any memory floating in your mind; a film you never
finished cause you didn't like it but you still felt curious
a song you didn't give the chance to hear, so many memories
could flood your mind in one second.. triggered by a smell

it's a grace and sometimes a cruel curse
learning how to manage it is the key to survive the wave
of potential nostalgia.. unforgiving, unkind
it could pull you to that person you miss, deeply and painfully
or it could drag the image of the person you hate, loath the air
..they dare to breathe
Memories are such a tricky thing; sometimes we realize
a bit too late how much power they have over us
.how they control us in a matter of seconds
